We would love to be able to use a cargo bike for some trips, but there is no storage space for a cargo bike at our home, nor are there enough cycle hangars for regular bikes, let alone cargo bikes.
It would be great to see a cargo bike rental scheme available throughout the city.
Welcome markvauxhall, and thanks for this post. I looked up cargo bike to see exactly what you mean, great idea. Would be even better if supermarkets and DIY stores etc. could accommodate cargo bikes so they are safe while you are shopping. I think your point about not enough cycle hangars in general could have its own post. For many Londoners in flats for example having a bike and keeping it safe would be tricky.
Thanks Mark that sounds like an appealing idea. What would you or people use cargobikes for - are there any particular occasions or uses that spring to mind?
